These two heavyweights hadn't squared off in a WCAC final in six years, in fact PVI topped DeMatha in both of its titles in 2012 and 2014. But on this night the Stags left no doubt as they led wire to wire. Mike Jones earned his 500th win in style as the Stags won 70-56 in front of a packed house at American University. Earl Timberlake came up huge for the Stags as he finbished with 21 points, 6 assists, 8 rebounds. and six big blocked shots. WCAC player of the year Hunter Dickinson finished with 10 points and 9 boards and transfer Jordan Hawkins went for 17. Elijah Hawkins added 10, 5 and 3. PVI was led by Trevor Keels and Jeremy Roach who each finished with 22.
