Humane Al, founded by former Apple designers Imran Chaudhri and Bethany Bongiorno, has launched a $699 Al Pin designed to replace smartphones.
The pin, worn on the lapel, enables voice-controlled calls, texts, and information lookup, featuring a laser display on the palm. It operates only when engaged and requires a $24 monthly data subscription to T-Mobile.
Humane Al raised over $200 million from investors like Microsoft, Tiger Global, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff. Orders for the Al Pin start on Nov. 16. The device supports real-time language translation and Al services from companies like Microsoft and Google.
