Dark clouds started to loom around the docks. Gordon, Buzz, and Eugene "HATED" rain. Rainbow was the only one who enjoyed the rain. The afternoon was freezing. 🥶 They all wore their warmest coats, mittens, scarfs, and beanies. They complained as they worked around the yard, not about shunting their own trains, but because of the freezing, wet atmosphere.
Gordon: God, save THE QUEEN! IT'S SO COLD!
Eugene: Tell me about it. My skin is starting to get dry.
Buzz: My batteries are freezing. Along with my buttons. At least my helmet keeps my face warm.
Rainbow: Cheer up, you three. It's better than the hot, melting sun.
Then, James and the girls arrived. They were helping Emily and her girls with shunting coaches.
James: Cheer up, Gordon. You aren't arguing about shunting again, are you? 🤭😏
Gordon: No, James! It's the FREEZING....COLD...ATMOSPHERE!!!! 😡
Clover: Owww. James, my ears!
Gordon: Oh, sorry.
Rairty: At least you have a hot, warm firebox darling.
Gordon: I know, Rarity. But sometimes the weather can overpower my firebox.
Rainbow: I've been shoveling coal over and over into his box, but he's still freezing.
Eugene: Even a hot washdown doesn't help him.
Buzz: His water tank almost froze yesterday.
James: Well, look on the bright side. The Fat Controller gives us less work so that we can get some extra warming up time.
Clover: Good point, James.
Rarity: Well, we're done. See you all back at the sheds. Hurry up! I heard it's gonna rain tonight.
James: Oh, by the way, Gordon. You lot took so long at complaining that....🤭.....YOUR EXPRESS COACHES HAVE TURNED INTO ICE BLOCKS ON WHEELS! 😂😂😂🤣😂😂
And James and the girls rolled quickly away, laughing their heads off.
Gordon's reaction was priceless. Even Buzz and Eugene were joining in the fun.
But Gordon was fuming!
Gordon let out his biggest burst of anger yet: WHAT!!? OH! JAAAAAMES! 😡😤
