It has a chewy texture to it, and doesn't fall apart easily.
You can taste the fried shiitake mushroom and tofu skin in every bite.😋
There's also that light spiciness from the white pepper,
That excites the taste buds,
And brings out a sweetness to the ingredients.
You can also prepare a soup to go with the meatballs,
Cooked meatballs have a different flavor to them,
They become soft and delicate, the more you chew, the more flavorful it is.
You can make more and freeze them,
So that you'll have some on hand when you want meatballs,

Vegan Handmade Meatballs (Makes 16)
Ingredients:
300g tofu skin*
25g carrot
100g celery
50g dried shiitake mushroom
Seasoning:
6g(2 tsp) white pepper
3g(1 tsp) salt
15g(1 tbsp) soy sauce paste / vegetarian oyster sauce
50g(7 tbsp) cake flour / low gluten flour
50g(6 tbsp) tapioca starch
30g(2 tbsp) liquid saved from soaking mushrooms / water
*This has been labelled fresh soy chip or fresh fried bean curd in some supermarkets
