President Donald Trump told Israel's prime minister today that he'd like the country to 'hold back' on settlement building. At a White House press conference, Trump said he believes that he and Benjamin Netanyahu can make a Middle East peace deal, emphasizing the the length of their relationship compared to predecessors who failed at the diplomatic process. But Trump said he needs Netanyahu to pull back on settlements 'a little bit.' 'Bibi and I have known each other a long time, smart man, great negotiator. And I think we’re going to make a deal,' Trump said. 'It might be a bigger and better deal than people in this room even understand.'
