She injured her what?! 😲

At the UK London premiere of @Disney's new Trudy Ederle bio-pic, #YoungWomanAndTheSea, Daisy Ridley, who plays Trudy, revealed exclusively to Metro Entertainment that she faced multiple injuries whilst shooting in the water. In the film, which is set almost 100 years ago, Trudy Ederle sets out to become the first woman to ever swim across the English Channel. 🌊

Daisy compared her experience to #HalleBailey who starred as Ariel in the live-action remake of the Disney classic, #TheLittleMermaid. Halle would reportedly spend up to 13 hours under water a day whilst shooting, something Daisy says she has "no idea" how they managed. 🥶


Young Woman And The Sea follows the true story of competitive swimmer Trudy Ederle, who, in 1926, became the first woman to ever swim across the English Channel. 🇬🇧
