The Philippines will get 2 additional corvettes free of charge from South Korea
In a report from the Philippine News Agency (PNA), Philippine National Defense Minister Secretary Delfin Lorenzana stated that South Korea had informed the Philippines that two more Pohang class corvettes were available and the Philippine Navy was eyeing their acquisition.
The Philippine Navy is currently operating one donated Pohang-class corvette, BRP Conrado Yap (PS-39).
