In this video, the DIENST horizontal cartoner HK-IV-S-k-12-R packs up to 100,000 ice cream products per hour for customer Unilever.
First, the rotary feeder erects the folding boxes. At the same time, the products are pushed into the boxes. The flaps of the filled folding boxes are sealed by hot-melt glue application. Integrated sensors monitor the entire packaging process. The built-in CO2 Laser 3340 laser marking machine from Videojet applies complex codes, such as best-before date and LOT, in a waterproof and abrasion-resistant manner.
