After 56 years in RAF service the C-130 Hercules is being retired. A great shame and a ridiculous decision in my opinion. Anyway, here we have Omen flight lifting up from RAF Brize Norton at 10am to start their farewell flight across the UK. I also caught their return 7 hours later as they passed over Brize Norton. Unfortunately the runway was closed due to issues from the heat and they were diverted into RAF Fairford instead. I was hoping to catch them landing too. I'm still very happy to have seen them.... I'm going to miss seeing these guys. This footage was shot handheld using a Canon XA11.
