Situated in the northern part of Port Klang, Northport is one of the key seaports in Malaysia.

Along with Westports and Southport, Northport contributes to making Port Klang the 12th busiest container port globally.

As of November 27, 2024, Northport achieved a new annual container throughput record by handling 3,328,508 TEUs, surpassing its previous record of 3,324,364 TEUs set in 2021.

Northport has recently expanded its infrastructure. The completion of the new Block K container yard has increased its annual handling capacity to approximately 6.15 million TEUs.
