Popliteal pulse point palpation, location, and assessment nursing skill.
In this video, I demonstrate how to find the popliteal pulse point. When assessing the pulse, you want to determine the pulse rate,
pulse strength, and the pulse rhythm.
The popliteal pulse point comes from the femoral artery, and you will find this pulse point on the back of the knee. It is located around the middle of the popliteal fossa (the pit that forms on the back of the leg).
