RECIPE:
LEMON & THYME BRANZINO
LEVEL: Easy
SERVES: 1-2
WHAT YOU NEED:
• A whole Mediterranean sea bass (Bronzino)
• A bunch of fresh thyme
• A lemon
• 1 garlic clove
• Olive oil
• Salt and black pepper to taste
HOW TO MAKE IT: Rub your fi sh with olive oil and a little salt then place on a baking tray. In the opening of the fi sh’s abdominal cavity, insert the garlic clove and thyme; then slice half of the lemon and place the slices on top of the fi sh. Bake your sea bream at 350-Fahrenheit degrees for 10-15 minutes (depending on the size). You can check if your fish is ready by opening the skin with a fork and moving the flesh. If it is cooked you should be able to move it easily, if not, place in the oven for another 2 minutes, then check again. When your is cooked, you can fi llet it and serve with fresh olive oil, pepper and a lemon wedge.
