When it comes to marketing yourself as a doctor or marketing for your doctors as a practice, video has become the name of the game. It's what patients want to see.

They want to see you in front of the camera, and they want to be able to build a like and trust relationship with you.
So I want to go over a couple tips for doing that as you break into video marketing as a doctor.
Number one, get straight to the point.
It may feel awkward but skip the lengthy introduction.
If they're on your website, if they're on your provider page, if they're on your YouTube channel, they already have an idea of who you are and they can find out more.
You're just wasting time. Skip the introduction.
Next, don't be afraid to turn a topic into multiple videos.
In fact, I encourage you to do that.
You don't need to say everything in one video, and do yourself a favor; in the little time, you have to make videos take one topic, on say a frozen shoulder, and turn it into five or six different videos about diagnosis, treatment, recovery time, all those things.
Next up, listen to your patients if you're looking for new ideas.
Patients constantly ask you questions, so get a little notebook, or when you go by your office when you've got downtime just jot those down.
You'll have dozens and dozens of new ideas the next time you go to record a video.
And last, it can sound small and can sound stupid, but getting started with video is the biggest obstacle that I see for physicians.
Literally going and just starting to record video is the best way to get going.
You'll learn, you'll make mistakes, and you'll get better along the way!
