Judges' Inspiration Award Recipient, ICE London Civil Engineering Awards 2019 in association with Jacobs.
Located at the heart of University College London’s Bloomsbury campus, the new Student Centre is the centrepiece of a £1.25 billion redevelopment programme set out by UCL Estates. It embedded sustainability throughout, reducing energy and carbon and using photovoltaics solar panels. The project team focused on delivering a new gateway onto campus and focal point for students that embodied the university’s aspirations and commitment to excellence and innovation.
