If young black people are doing better in school than their white counterparts they're still finding the cards stacked against them when they enter the world of work. The Equality and Human Rights Commission says there's "entrenched race inequality" across society, with ethnic minorities more likely to live in poverty than white people, while black workers with degrees earn 23 per cent less than equivalent white employees.
