Pfitzner Performance Gearboxes has developed a high-performance, 6-speed, sequential, dog-engagement gear system for Subaru WRX STI models that are fitted with an OEM 6-speed gearbox.
Working with Rocket Rally Racing (Subaru Rally Team Canada) PPG’s gearbox has been designed to cope with the demands of top-level motorsport. It can be used for race, rally, sprint, hill climb and Time Attack applications, meeting regulations for Open Class, USA & Canadian Rally Championships, World Time Attack and a range of domestic series in a variety of countries.
The Subaru WRX STI has become a highly successful rally car, with the most recent version achieving success on a global scale. PPG’s dog engagement gear sets have proved time and again to offer the best performance in this application and are now the benchmark against to which other Subaru motorsport transmissions are measured.
