Since 1998, Mark Blanchard has been building some of the finest handmade guitars, and this Blanchard Bristlecone is a perfect example of Mark’s “hands on” precision craftsmanship. Blanchard takes pride in the visual composition of each instrument, putting much thought into magnifying the woods natural beauty in a “harmonious” way. The select European spruce top and Madagascar Rosewood back and sides are hand voiced using traditional flex-and-tap methods, as well as a Chladni style acoustic evaluation.
