Sources said the auto driver had climbed the train at Tindivanam station during the protest.
The state is witnessing yet another day of agitations with the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) calling for a bandh over the Cauvery issue. The party cadres reportedly resorted to blocking trains at several places across Tamil Nadu since morning.
