This is a reconstruction of the theatrical trailer for the Wing Commander feature film. All the other versions of the Wing Commander movie trailer on youtube are sad and ancient. I've gone through and painstakingly matched the shots in the trailer scene-for-scene using the Blu-ray as source. I've pasted them together with the original trailer audio and title cards. If I get ambitious I might attempt to remake the title cards one day...

The movie is based on the Wing Commander series of video games, and unlike other films based on video games, was also directed by the game series' creator. Production and budget issues meant that the finished product never reflected director Chris Robert's vision for the movie with substantial important subplots having been left on the cutting room floor.
