The “Multicultural calendar and recipe book”, is the final product realized within a multicultural educative program in which curricular and extracurricular activities are developed addressing the social inclusion of migrant students with different nationalities.
Through the calendar, cultural and traditional festivities from every nationality present in the school will be listed and described, including typical costumes, music, and rituals.
In addition to that, typical recipes will be included in the ‘recipe book’ as prepared in each season and month of the calendar or during the above-mentioned celebrations.
This good practice looks at sharing multicultural habits and traditions as a means of intercultural communication and understanding.
It aims to overcome stereotypes, promoting coexistence and integration between different cultural groups and to overcome cultural and language barriers, through creative inclusive processes.
