For years I've had my eye on jointer/planer combination machines. But usually they're way too expensive or 10" wide for the max size. Working out of a smaller shop, space is a premium. I'm blown away by how this unit meets all my needs and really takes my woodworking to the next level, making things faster and becoming so much more efficient. Plus, this machine is the same cost of comparable sized planers with the helical cutterhead upgrade AND you get a 12 INCH jointer too! Just makes a lot of sense.
