Amboró National Park hosts over 912 species of birds and over 177 mammals. The altitude ranges between 300 metres and 3,338 metres. Only small sections are easily accessible.

On the northeast side accommodation and guides are managed by local families in annual turns. That makes it authentic Bolivian, but doesn't add to the quality. We were guided by a 13 year old son.
