Shown in time-lapse form is the rescue and restoration of a classic truck from 1940. In all, 500 photos tell the story of its ownership from being discovered and rescued in 1995, through various moves and storage changes, and then to the main restoration which began in 2007 and continued until 2011, the end date for this video.
Being a time lapse video, the photos are skipped through at a rapid pace. I've also included scans of photographs showing the Dodge "back in the day", ie how it would have looked in WW2 serving with the British military, and also when it was a car transporter in the late 1940s and early 1950s.

The truck is a 3-ton Dodge VK62B built in 1940, and shipped to the UK early in WW2 where it was bodied as an aircrew bus for the RAF. Following the war, the rear seats were removed, a winch and ramps were acquired, and it began a second life as a racing car transporter for weekend racing driver Dennis Poore and his mighty Alfa Romeo 8C-35. The lorry also carried an Aston Martin DB3, and DB3S, and a Connaught A-Type, before Poore retired from racing at the end of 1955 when the car, the former RAF crewbus and all the team effects were squirrelled away.
