We are told that knowledge is power and yet, as school leaders and teachers, we are often unaware of the quantity of potential information that is around us.
This workshop will showcase a year in the life of a data-rich school looking at how it is possible to gather and analyse data to effect whole school improvement. It will provide examples and a case study of a real school which has used the data around them to inform the need to introduce a Cambridge Professional Development Qualification (PDQ) programme, and it will give participants the opportunity to consider the data that is available to them and how this might be used to make key decisions about improvement. If knowledge is power, then harnessing it will lead to greater resilience in these difficult times.
