Tania Jain, MBBS, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, discusses the results of a retrospective analysis evaluating the outcomes of post-transplantation cyclophosphamide (PTCy) based graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) prophylaxis in patients undergoing allogeneic blood or marrow transplantation for myelofibrosis. Bone marrow transplantation using non-myeloablative conditioning and PTCy for graft-versus-host disease prophylaxis demonstrated comparable clinical outcomes as other studies in myelofibrosis.
