The new Eastern Corridor, an 18 km route between Pasir Ris Park and East Coast Park, is now complete!
The Eastern Corridor offers an alternative route between Pasir Ris Park and East Coast Park, linking to several green spaces in the east for a variety of nature-based recreational experiences for park visitors.
The eastern half of the Round Island Route (RIR) will also be enhanced, with wayfinding features, enhanced landscaping, new habitats. New cycling bridges are also planned.
Such curated island-wide recreational routes are part of our efforts to provide more opportunities for the community to explore and move between our parks and nature areas. It also contributes towards enabling every household to live within a 10-minute walk of a park by 2030, as part of our City in Nature vision for Singapore 🌳
