A slightly different video from me. Rather than talking about Batman as he appears in Batman the Animated Series, The Batman, or Batman Caped Crusader, I'm going to talk about DC Comics' new Absolute Universe, and the first issue of Absolute Batman by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta.

While this new Batman is pretty brutal, there's still enough of the old Batman DNA in there for him to not feel like an entirely separate character. In fact, I can see some similarities to Terry McGinnis.

Let's talk about five big things from this comic that stood out to me. There will, of course, be spoilers.
