Nuppeppō - a lump of flesh that has gained a soul
Nurikabe - This invisible creature stopped travelers on their way, it was most likely used as an excuse if you were late or got lost
Biwa-Bokuboku - If you don't play your Biwa enough (Instrument), it becomes lonely, and starts singing sad songs
Makura-Gaeishi - Flips over your pillow while you sleep
Kamikiri - Randomly appears and cuts a bit of your hair off
