The Prince George’s County Police Accountability Board reviews misconduct complaints against law enforcement officers employed in the County. It makes recommendations to promote greater police accountability and improve the relationship between law enforcement and the community. This includes the Prince George’s County Police Department, the Office of the Sheriff for Prince George’s County, and municipal police departments in the County.
The Police Accountability Board was established as required by the Maryland Police Accountability Act of 2021.
