GM gave us a lot of options with the G Body, Monte Carlo, Regal Malibu, Cutlass, Grand Prix, El Caminos, Caballeros, the 1 year only '78 Riviera and some wild options packages. GMC made the Caballero into Diablo complete with hood, door and tailgate graphics. All built on the same platform, with engines from the 3.8 V6 in both Buick and Chevy flavors to the corporate Small block chevy 305 and 350 for a few years early on. Oldsmobile used the 307 in some of their cars and a few rare ones got the loosely small block based diesel. There were options like the 442 and the Aero Coupe for NASCAR homologation. We can't forget the Turbo Buicks! There's a flavor for whatever you're into!
