The event is motivated by the increasing importance of appropriate testing methods for predicting and understanding wear and degradation phenomena of rubber materials (e.g. tyre wear, or crack initiation and propagation in elastomer parts and influence on stress corrosion cracking of contacted polymer components, etc.).
