The Bells of Dale is a scaling instance that is part of the Road to Erebor cluster of instances. I've run this instance at level 86 with a champion that is Level 112. This is the first time I've tested this champion solo against a level 86 6-player instance.
The Champion is a Level 112 Yellow-line (The Deadly Storm) Champion having just reached the point where I can barter for both aggressive & defensive gear. These were obtained from the High Enchanter at the Ruins of Dingarth for 60-70 motes of enchantment per piece of equipment.
I've now setup sequence bars to quickly swap between a defensive set for tanking these kind of solo instances or a DPS/PVE configuration for when the champ is questing/exploring Mordor. He was able to run this instance with the Tankier set and I kept this setup going throughout the instance as there were a few times the champion was taking a fair amount of damage from a large number of adds/opponents.
I used to use the sequence bars plugin significantly before changing over to 4k screen resolution for things like combat sequences & armour swaps. I had missed the UI scaling in the plugins global settings & have now scaled it up to 168% to match the champions more general 170% 4k display scaling/setup.
A good description of using the plugin for armour set swapping from the plugins author can be found here.
