The Greenville Story - This is only a sample clip taken from the master DVD. The performance of 1949, the sesquicentennial celebration, was held on the lawn of Muhlenberg County Courthouse. The program was written by Virginia Belcher, produced by the Greenville PTA, and directed by Bob Ed Vick. J. E. Wood narrated the program. This digitized audio was created from ten recently discovered 78 rpm records that contained 20 tracks of historic audio. The audio is being used as the basis for a DVD entitled, The Greenville Story. It will be filled with video and images from Greenville's past. Enjoy this long lost piece of history, The Greenville Story. The DVD will be available by December 2015.
