Truly a high-quality gem Spinel with a beautiful color shift & high dispersion due to many facets & no window. In sunlight this stone has the color of a high-quality Aquamarine in a bright light tone but has all the superior optical properties of Spinel. It even becomes a more vivid blue under direct sunlight, but my camera just won’t capture the color, the sun overwhelming my camera. Under LED light this Spinel turns a beautiful periwinkle blue in a brilliant light tone.

Many blue Spinels are medium dark to dark in tone, not this Spinel. A bright light tone that quality Vietnam Spinels are renowned for. A true gem.
