The Advanced Explosive Processing Research Group (AXPRO) mission is to leverage the research, facilities, processes, capabilities, and experience of the Colorado School of Mines Mining Engineering Department to assist customers with explosive research and testing.

In this series, AXPRO used Phantom's v711 High-speed camera to test the performance of fluid desensitized detonators. Oil was used in this video to find how this type of detonator performs under controlled conditions. The test was recorded at 59K fps.
