The second brood of the season did not go well-- one egg was nonviable, and the other chick died the day after it hatched. The doves got right back to it though, and laid more eggs for brood 3. Here the first egg from brood 3 has hatched and the parent bird cleans up the eggshell. The nonviable egg from brood 2 is still in the nest, along with the second egg from brood 3 which hasn't hatched yet.
