The virtual space has become a second world in which we operate. This brings many new opportunities and chances, as well as threats. This risk particularly affects children, who often explore the Internet on their own. We adults have limited knowledge of the dangers that can be associated with internet access. The Internet is constantly changing, presenting us with new challenges and uncertainties.
18th International Conference “Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online” is the largest regular event in Poland concerning children online safety. It is targeted at representatives of educational institutions, non-governmental organisations, public administration, judiciary, and internet sector.
The conference organisers are the Polish Safer Internet Centre (PCPSI), which is formed of NASK National Research Institute and Empowering Children Foundation. Financed from the Justice Fund administered by the Minister of Justice.The event is co-financed by the European Union. The Main Partner of the conference is Orange Foundation.
