A Suzuki Wagon with a piano on the trailer was accelerated to 57.5 km/h and driven against a rigid block. Inside the vehicle there was a belted 50% dummy on the driver's seat. A trailer (265 kg) was attached to the vehicle, on which a piano (238 kg) was placed. The total weight of the trailer load was 503 kg.
Results:
The driver airbag and passenger airbag were triggered
Front and rear passenger compartment strongly deformed
The rear seats deformed due of the intrusions from the piano
The driver was jammed, intrusions in the footwell
High injury risk for all passengers on the Suziku Wagon
The trailer deformed strongly and detached from the trailer coupling
