MCPS celebrated the first day of school on Monday, August 30th. The school system will be open for in-person instruction for 5-days a week with many safety protocols and contingency plans in place. Interim Superintendent Monifa McKnight toured schools to welcome students and participated in a press event at the new Seneca Valley High School.
