This is a demonstration using Boss Aoko Aozaki in the PS2 version of Melty Blood: Actress Again. Read on below for more information...
Boss Aoko / CPU Aoko is a character who only appears in Boss Rush mode as a CPU opponent on Stage 4. She is an unplayable character.
===== ABOUT BOSS AOKO =====
She is basically a special version of the regular character Aoko Aozaki. This version of her is a throwback to her appearance back in Melty Blood Re-ACT, where she was a hidden (and overpowered) final boss character.
In MBAA, Boss Aoko is mostly like regular Aoko with the Crescent Moon Style, but with the major difference of possessing 8 unique special moves that the regular human player forms of Aoko doesn't have. These special moves are the same ones Aoko had back in Re-ACT when she was a boss - although they are slightly different and weakened for MBAA. She also has the Laser Starmine move - however for Boss Aoko this is a normal special move! (they are super moves for the player forms of her)
You can see these moves being demonstrated starting at 2:52 in the video, the annotations which start with "Boss Aoko sp: ..." are the unique moves.
Additionally, she also uses the Eclipse Style mode - a mode which is used by the bosses in Boss Rush mode. It is normally a non-selectable mode unless you're playing as Archetype:Earth.
===== ABOUT MELTY BLOOD AA =====
Melty Blood started off as a doujin game on the PC which was released back in 2002... it was basically a spin-off game of the visual novel Tsukihime. Therefore obviously, the game contains characters and story elements from the novel. The game has evolved a lot since then, so much that the later games saw release on the Arcade and PS2 platforms. In 2016, a Steam version of Current Code was released.
The gameplay of Melty Blood is all about the chain combos and pure rushdown... if you want to play this competitively then your reaction time and combo'ing ability better be up to scratch.
