The more successful Local Government Programs are those that have succeeded and thrived in other LGUs. When I served as Provincial Governor I heard of the Suroy-Suroy Sugbo Tourism Program of Gov Gwen Garcia for the Province of Cebu. I wanted to replicate it for Lanao del Norte but ran out of time and graduated my 3rd Term. I’m happy to know that a best LGU practices program will be championed by DoT Sec Frasco. Looking forward an improvement in local tourism for Lanao del Norte under her guidance.
