The Cascade Rescue Equalizer Litter Handles are designed to be attached to a wheeled litter and used for the evacuation of an injured subject. The Equalizer handles and the handle brackets should never be used to carry the full weight of a loaded litter during a carryout without a wheel supporting the load. The Equalizer handles and brackets are not designed or engineered to be used as attachment points for lifting, hauling or belaying a litter during a wheeled evacuation or a high angle rescue. Only the larger diameter top and support rails and the Articulating Lift Points are acceptable attachment points for hauling, lifting or belay line attachment points.
