This is it, the very end of 2021! This year was entirely dedicated to learning to draw florals, and you can really see the progression in this video! You can also see the progression in my comfort with using color, which is fun.

It’s been so interesting learning to draw these flowers this year! Some of them I loved drawing (tulips were an especially easy and nice change, lol) and some were a complete pain (sunflowers have SO MANY PETALS OMG), but in the end I’ve really loved flipping through these journals and looking back on every theme. I hope you enjoy this, and I hope it helps provide some ideas for your own themes if you’re looking for inspo!

To everyone who’s been with me since the beginning of this self-made challenge (even before I started filming them)-- thank you so much for your steady support and encouragement and enthusiasm. To anyone new and just coming by now, I still appreciate you taking the time to watch this! And don’t worry, I have a new challenge for myself for my 2022 themes: female-humanoid-creature-tarot-card-things?? LOL stay tuned, it’ll be a ride.
