American Dad! is an American animated sitcom series created by Seth MacFarlane and co-produced by Fuzzy Door Productions and 20th Television. Premiering on Fox in 2005, it serves as a spiritual follow up or spin-off to MacFarlane's more popular series Family Guy by employing the same art style and sense of humor.
