PM Narendra Modi receives a ceremonial reception at the Orly airport in France. The PM is on a two-day visit to the country during which he will participate in the annual Bastille Day Parade and hold talks with the French leadership. A deal for acquisition of 26 Rafale-Marine fighters and another one for construction of three more Scorpene class submarines for the Indian Navy is expected during the visit. Discussions are also likely on plans to co-develop engines for India's fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA).
