Anne Bonny was one of the few known female pirates of the Golden Age. Born in Ireland around 1702, she joined the pirate Calico Jack Rackham in the 1720s. Notorious for her bravery in battle and her fearlessness, Anne Bonny became a legendary figure in piracy. However, her fate is relatively mysterious as there is little record of her later years.
