The elegant small old-style cruise ship MS Astor is no more, scrapped before her time because of COVID-19. Astor's early demise saddens us hugely , as being the ship which returned cruising out of Adelaide after many decades. We "tried her out" on a weekend getaway, then enjoyed subsequent longer cruises, including one memorable "shipwreck" pinned to the end of Port Melbourne jetty in a gale.
