Relic hunting and getting great results using the small 5 inch coils on the Fisher F19 metal detector. We have been metal detecting this 1800s cellar hole all year long with full size coils. Today we switched them out to see what else we could find and really get in the tight small spots. We ended up finding a couple coins, buckles, buttons and other 1800s artifacts. This old NH homesite has been great for finding stuff and that's the way it goes in New England. metal detecting old places like this there is so much history. All overgrown and abandoned well over 100 years ago there is stuff buried in the ground just waiting to be dug up.
