In the Christian’s fight against abortion, the Comstock Act of 1873 has surfaced in our recent headlines, and personally, I’m thrilled about it.

If you’re not familiar, the Comstock Act prohibits the U.S. Postal Service from delivering any “article or thing designed, adapted, or intended for producing abortion.”

The Comstock act makes it a felony to mail the abortion pill, Mifepristone.

After Roe was overturned, abortion became a state-by-state ruling. Therefore, abortion providers figured they would mail abortion pills into anti-abortion states. However, the Comstock Act declares that to be a FELONY.

Needless to say, the enemies of life are calling upon the Supreme Court to repeal the Comstock Act.

Both the Washington Post and the New York Times have OpEds about it. The Washington Post calls the Comstock Act “obsolete,” and “misogynistic,”while the New York Times calls it “an arcane law.”

I call it a potentially life-saving law. If you would, take a moment to say a prayer for godly wisdom for our Supreme Court Justices. Pray that they protect this LAW and thereby they’ll protect LIFE.
