If you want something that makes it easy to get around the city... and absolutely nothing else... the Ronin should make a good purchase. One. It's really easy to ride around the city. The engine is designed almost exclusively for low-rev torque and a minimum of gear changes. This makes speed breakers, overtaking things very simple. Two. TVS have also added convenience bits ranging from connectivity bits to a slipper clutch that further reduce the effort of riding the motorcycle around the city. So the work you have to put in to make the Ronin do stuff is surprisingly low. Three. The suspension tune also works in this mode. It feels comfortable and plush and at city speeds, it makes most roads feel smoother than they are. To us, this is a very commuter-centric, limited way to think of a 225cc motorcycle. If that's what you plan to do with it? The Ronin should make an easy bike to find happiness with.
